Larry Csonka met fans, young and old, ahead of Super Bow XLI, Miami. An event organised at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour, saw over two hundred shoppers stand in line to meet the legendary running back, Super Bowl MVP and team member of the 1972 Dolphin’s that went unbeaten 17 – 0.

Larry signed luxury limited edition portraits, donated by publisher Opus. The photograph is one of a set of Super Bowl MVP’s commissioned to appear exclusively in Super Bowl XL – The Opus, celebrating Forty Years of the Super Bowl. The portrait was taken by Walter Iooss Jr, on the Polaroid 20×24, the world’s largest operating Polaroid camera. Fans treasured the keepsake of Larry and took the opportunity to flick through the 850 pages of the worlds largest published book that was displayed at various locations within the store. CBS6 interviewed Larry and asked him about the publication… he said it was a great achievement and looked amazing.

Finally an unexpected guest, Reggie Bush also cheered the crowd. Reggie who was shopping took time to say hello to Larry and signed autographs for fans. Sonia Gibson from Saks said the event was a great success and everyone was delighted with their signed prints.
