The Official 24 Hours Le Mans Opus celebrates the most famous endurance race in the world and is being created in partnership with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO)

The Opus will tell the iconic story of the world’s oldest active sports car race in endurance racing. The race has been held near the town of Le Mans and is known as the Grand Prix of Speed and Endurance. The race that had its roots in showcasing road cars but then the element of racing took over. Motor manufacturers took the race to heart as it enabled the use of innovative technology coupled with efficiency and endurance. A titan of a race that can cover over 5,000 kilometers – where man and machine have to perform at their optimum in speed and efficiency.

The whole spectrum of the race will be covered within the Opus, ranging from the cars and drivers to the unsung heroes of the teams: the engineers, mechanics and pit crew. And also the fans – the pilgrimage that is made on an annual basis from all corners of the globe.

There will be never before seen content and with unparalleled access the Opus will take the reader into the heart of the race. They will be able to immerse themselves in the rich history that has been created by dominant teams such as Porsche, Ferrari, Audi and Ford.

The Opus itself will run to 850 sensational pages, each measuring 20 inches x 20 inches (50cm x 50cm) weighing in excess of 32 Kg (98lb). The Opus will be leather bound and presented in a beautiful, hand-made clamshell case especially designed to reflect the 24 Hours Le Mans legacy.

The Winners’ Edition will be presented in a carbon fibre clamshell and each copy will include a special signature page of all living 24h Le Mans winners.

The Marquee Edition will include legends from this incredible sporting event.

A second format of the Opus, The Midi Edition, will measure 15 inches x 15 inches. It will cover the same story of the Marquee Edition but with edited content. Still weighing in at approximately 15kg, this Midi Edition is created to satisfy the demands of a much wider fan base at a more affordable price point.
