Held at the Zel Cafe/Gallery in the Art and Fashion complex in the Roppongi Hills, the exhibition displays 34 polaroids, specially selected by Westwood herself as her favourites from the 97 in this monumental publication. Invited guests and media representatives of Japan’s most influential magazines were wowed by the polaroids of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Bob Geldof, Tim Burton and other friends of Westwood. The nine editions of the Opus, each with their own bespoke cover designed by the British fashion icon, formed a stunning centrepiece for the event which introduced the 900 copy-limited edition to the city’s fashionistas.
