The grand dame of British Fashion, Vivienne Westwood, will make a unique appearance at the V&A museum on 13 March 2009.

Westwood will be reading her inspirational manifesto in front of a sold out audience, and will stand next to the largest fashion publication ever produced, the Vivienne Westwood Opus.

Whilst conversing her political and often controversial views as well as her witty interpretations of historic dress with members of the audience, which include representatives of Greenpeace and CND, the Vivienne Westwood Opus will display the fashion designer’s very own words on her manifesto, as well as a collection of fascinating 20×24” polaroids of her closest friends and family, all wearing her most personal and stunning collections. These unique images are all exclusive to the Opus and will also be positioned separately around the V&A.
