The sporting elite once again gathered for the annual Laureus World Sports Awards. This year’s ceremony was held on 14th February 2017 in Monaco.

The Opus team set up studio at the luxury Hermitage Hotel in Monaco, the base for Laureus Foundation, to captured portraits of Laureus members for the forthcoming Official Laureus Opus. The members were also on hand to sign the unique signature sheets that will be included in the the most exclusive Marquee Edition of the Opus.

Along with seasoned members of the foundation, like legend Gary Player and Franz Klammer were new inductees Chris Hoy, Ruud Gullit and Fabian Cancillara as well as this year’s Sportswoman of the Year winner, Simone Biles.

The Official Laureus Opus celebrates the spirit of sporting greatness and the inspiration that sport brings to individuals and community in all walks of life.

The forthcoming Opus will be 850 pages, measuring 20 x 20 inches (50 cm x 50 cm) and will be available in two special editions including a limited edition Marquee edition of 150 copies signed by 56 Laureus Academy Members.
