Last week the Opus team talked with Lord Sebastian Coe in an exclusive interview for The Official Laureus Opus.

Lord Coe, a multi-world record breaker, a double British Olympic champion, President of the IAAF(International Associated of Athletics Federations), chairman of the British Olympic Association and Laureus Member, met with Opus at his office in London.

Lord Coe’s story is an inspiring one – from training with his coach (his father Peter Coe); to winning the bid for the London 2012 Olympics; to the current challenges he faces as President of the IAAF, Lord Coe reminisced of the many successes and challenges of his extraordinary career to date.

The Official Laureus Opus celebrates the spirit of sporting greatness and the immeasurable inspiration that sport can bring to an individual or community in all walks of life. Inspiration is the key purpose of this Opus and it achieves this goal by telling the individual stories of over 50 great living sporting legends in the Laureus Academy and showing how they embrace the principle of using sport to help bring positive social change. First-hand accounts of their career memories, challenges and motivations are illustrated on a dynamic scale with epic photography of their finest moments.
