Vivienne Westwood Opus Goes On Tour

Following the huge success of the Vivienne Westwood Opus Polaroids displayed at the Scream Gallery (London) during London Fashion Week, Opus has the pleasure to announce a special tour of this spectacular work of art.

These breathtaking images of family and friends wearing Westwood’s stunning designs, taken on the rare Polaroid 20 x 24 Studio Camera, reflect her inspirational manifesto and have already been warmly received at the ArtLounge, Birmingham thoughout March and April 2008. The latest tour stop is in London at the Heard Gallery, which is designed to display and promote new and limited edition designs and artwork.

The tour will be heading to the Far East this summer giving thousands more people the chance to view the gorgeous, superbly-detailed 50 x 60cm original prints featured in Vivienne Westwood Opus and the beautiful Opus itself. Hong Kong will play host in June 2008 (venue to be confirmed) for two weeks, before the exhibition moves to Tokyo, Japan. Sponsored by Itochu, Japan’s biggest retailer, the Opus will be launched at a prestigious gallery and displayed at the venue for four weeks.

After hearing about the incredible success of previous exhibitions, Elle Magazine and The British Council agreed to sponsor a Moscow tour stop. The roadshow will then power on to the greatest fashion cities including New York, Paris and Milan.
