Opus has launched The Pavarotti Story - Opus Digital Edition (ODE), which celebrates the life and music of one of the most successful and best-loved tenors of all time. The ODE includes 15 classic songs from Pavarotti’s archive collection and five videos of the tenor performing in concert, plus exclusive and previously unseen content including a comprehensive illustrated biography of the opera legend’s life, work and legacy. The audio tracks include some of his most successful and popular recordings including: Verdi, Donizetti and perhaps his most famous piece of work, Puccini’s Nessun Dorma which he sang as part of The Three Tenors on the eve of the 1990 World Cup Final.
The Pavarotti Story ODE is the latest from the Opus Digital catalogue and compliments the spectacular 850 page, 37 kilogram, limited edition volumes that Opus Media Group produces under its ‘Opus’ brand. The integrity of the content and core values of Opus will remain consistent within each ODE telling iconic stories in an unprecedented way.
Karl Fowler, CEO and founder of Opus Media Group commented:
“With every Opus, the story always has to come first. It has to have passion, drama and describe an epic journey with previously unseen pictures and memories. These will always be the key ingredients, so deciding to tell the story of the iconic Pavarotti was an easy choice to make. We will continue to tell stories in our own unique way, but the move into the digital format allows us to make content more accessible to a truly global audience, in much the same way as Pavarotti was lauded for bringing Opera to the masses.”
The Pavarotti Story - Opus Digital Edition is available to download for just £1.99 for the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and is the only app available on iTunes dedicated to the iconic classical legend.
