Opus has partnered with Garrard, the world‘s oldest jeweller, to create a very special Diamond Edition of The Diamond Jubilee Opus.
Find out more about The Diamond Edition
Limited to just 60 copies worldwide, the Diamond Edition features a beautifully-designed royal cypher and is set with an exquisite diamond sourced and cut by Garrard especially for the Opus. The cypher adorns the cover of the Opus and is used throughout Her Majesty‘s realms as a symbol of royal authority and depicts St Edward‘s Crown, the official coronation crown.
St Edward‘s Crown in its original form was used by William the Conqueror in his coronation in 1066, and the present crown was made originally for the coronation of King Charles II in 1661. It was Garrard, appointed Crown Jewellers by Queen Victoria in 1843, who were responsible for the regalia used in the Queen‘s own Coronation in 1953 and there could be no one better suited to produce this bejewelled edition of The Diamond Jubilee Opus.
